Just as octal and hexadecimal are compressed forms of binary, alphadecimal is the version of senary with half as many digits. Each senary pair of digits, from 00 to 55, corresponds to one base 36 one, since 36 = 6^2. 0.05 05 05 05 05 ...(sen.) = 0.55555555...(Ad.) = 1/7, or 1/11(senary) since 11 is seven in that case 0.11 11 11 11 11 ...(sen.)... 10 is six from senary, so the digits in alphadecimal are 1+6 = 7, 0.77777777...(Ad.) = 1/5 1 20 00 (sen.) = 1U0(Ad.) = cube of twelve 0.02 13 (sen.) = 0.29(Ad.) = one sixteenth 0.03 13 45 24 21 03 13 45 24 21 03 13 45 ...(sen.) = 0.39mJH39mJH39...(Ad.) = one eleventh
